The Role of an LIA Teacher
Research tells us that teachers are the most influential school-based factor for student achievement. Minority students in particular need strong relationships with their teachers in order to succeed in school.
As an LIA teacher, you are becoming a champion for these students. You will constantly look for ways to strengthen relationships, support student growth, and create a classroom where students feel seen, valued, and capable.
